We spent these days driving around the countryside of Tuscany and visiting small towns along the way.  We ate so much good food and drank loads of good wine. We drank coffee and ate sweets at cafes and stopped at all the little shops.  It has been an absolute blast!

On the 21st we drove from Asti to the Tuscany region.  There was a semi fire so the traffic was extremely backed up.  We went up into the mountains to a town that was flooded leaving some of the town under water.  It was very beautiful.  We also walked around another small town.  We checked into our new Airbnb, which is way out in the country.  It is another very unique place.  We went to a local restaurant called Artemide.  It was really good and affordable.  On the 22nd we drove to another area and stopped to have lunch of prosciutto and pickled items at a random country store.  Then we visited a castle.  We ate lunch at Reataurante Da Loris.  We were so happy to be able to eat there because we didn’t make reservations.  It was an incredible meal!  We ate tortellini, mushroom soup, and a stew made of rabbit, boar, and chicken.  We relaxed at the Airbnb and went for a walk.  Then Bart made us dinner.
