We had eggplant Parmesan for breakfast at a bakery and then had coffee at the central square.  We took the metro to the bus and then the bus to the airport where we picked up our rental car.  Then we drove 3 hours to Asti.  It was a very gorgeous drive along winding roads through valleys and vineyards.  We stopped along the way and had lunch at a local restaurant.  We had yummy homemade pasta with mushrooms they picked.  Our Airbnb was out in the country.  It was a quaint little place run by a nice family.  We enjoyed petting their dog, cat, and pig(Lola).  She looks so similar to Porkchop, but about 50 pounds heavier.  Then we took a walk out in the woods.  Bart made us a yummy dinner as well.
