On the 30th we grabbed a cab at 7 AM to take us to the bus stop. We got some food from a local bakery for breakfast before boarding the 8:30 AM bus to Dubrovnik. Once we arrived in Dubrovnik we grabbed some lunch at a pizza joint near the bus stop. Then we got a taxi to our Airbnb. After checking in we decided to hike up to the lookout point over the city. It was insanely hot. It was a very cool view of the city, especially the old city surrounded with the high walls. We went to the old city for dinner and then got some ice cream and walked around. It was super crowded so we decided to come back in the morning to enjoy it more. It’s definitely the coolest city we have been to. On the 31st we woke up early and walked down to the old city. We got breakfast at a bakery and then walked around to take pictures and pet all of the cats. At 8 AM we grabbed a coffee and then headed up to the wall. The entire thing is around a mile total. It gave some really nice views of the city. Then we walked through the city outside of the old city. We came upon a trail that led down to the ocean. It was a nice little private old to swim with a ladder. So we cooled off in the water for a bit. After that we walked back to the Airbnb to cool off and relax. We went back to the old town and ate at Barba for dinner. We had their famous octopus burger and fried calamari.
