I found a local park nearby and went for a run.  Then I made us our breakfast of Greek yogurt, cherries, granola, and honey.  The Greek yogurt is obviously so good here!  Then we walked to a coffee shop and enjoyed a couple of cappuccinos on a sidewalk patio.  We went for a walk after that and stumbled upon a market.  A nice, clean, normal market similar to the ones back home.  We bought tomatoes, olives, olive oil, dill, and a lemon.  Everyone was friendly and let us try many different items.  Then we went back to the Airbnb and Bart made us a fresh plate of the previous food.  We packed and waited for Jerry to arrive.  He got to the Airbnb around noon.  We took him to get his first gyro for lunch.  We walked through the National Gardens to get to the tourist areas and had second lunch at Miran.  It is a deli where you can pick what meat, cheese, and dips you would like to try.  They also served free raki liquor, which Bart enjoyed a little too much of.  Then we rented scooters to cruise around and see the sites.  We visited the Acropolis, which contains the remains of several ancient buildings.  The most popular being the Parthenon and the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.  There were some great views of the city and of Mount Lycabettus.  The Acropolis was quite spectacular to see and well worth the money.  We also saw the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Arch of Hadrian, and the Panathenaic Stadium.  We drove through Plaka as well.  Overall Athens is not a great city to ride scooters through.  We fought traffic and hills the entire time.  We decided to go to a brewery for a beer.  We walked to Noctua Brewery only to find that Greece does not allow breweries to give out samples.  They sent us to a local pub that resembled an Irish pub.  We enjoyed a beer and then headed to find more scooters.  We headed back to the Airbnb before dinner.  We went to the same restaurant as the previous day. We went to bed quite early.
